In his practice, Kåre Frang investigates transitional states and the inherent unease of transformation. Working intuitively, he explores how materials and objects carry embedded narratives that can be reactivated in new contexts. His works often combine fragmented temporalities to reflect on memory, perspective, and change. Frang is particularly drawn to culturally charged objects that mark rites of passage and expose tensions between permanence and fragility.
Kåre Frang (DK, 1992) holds a MFA from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts (2020).
Upcoming and recent exhibitions include: Malmö Konsthall (Malmö), Vejle Art Museum (Vejle), Sophienholm Kunsthal (Kgs. Lyngby), Rå Hal (Aarhus), Art Hub Copenhagen (Copenhagen), Le Bicolore (Paris), Heartland Festival (Egeskov), The Nivaagaard Collection (Nivaa), Loggia (Munich), Den Frie Udstillingsbygning (Copenhagen), Wadden Tide (Esbjerg), Rinde am Rhein (Düsseldorf), Posta Space (Sofia), Ringsted Galleriet (Ringsted), Tivoli Gardens (Copenhagen), inter.pblc (Copenhagen), Ehlers Collection (Haderslev), Rola Bola (Rouen), Kunsthal 44Møn (Askeby), Kunsthal Kongegaarden (Korsør), Kunsthal Augustiana (Augustenborg) and Lagune Ouest (Copenhagen).

Juni Fonden Honorary Award (2021).
